In 1988, as newlyweds, we embarked on a unique adventure by purchasing a turn-of-the-century farm. Captivated by its rich history, we spent our weekends restoring the original farm house, root cellar, and smokehouse. Over time, we added a barn, pottery studio, and woodworking shop to bring our dream to life.
While we immersed ourselves in this labor of love, our weekdays were spent in Atlanta, where we pioneered a creative school which eventually expanded to 15 cities across eight countries. Our commitment to education took a new form when we acquired Blackberry House, inviting students to the farm for photography and creative writing workshops.
In 2023, our journey unfolded with the opening of Satolah Creek Farm—a micro resort designed for couples seeking a relaxed, multi-day wedding experience. This is not just a venue; it's an invitation to create unforgettable memories surrounded by the charm of our turn-of-the-century farm. Our micro resort is tailored for intimate weddings, providing the ideal setting for your unique journey.

We had a wonderful wedding at Satolah Creek Farm. The property was beautifully landscaped, and when we got married in May the azaleas and other flowers were blooming. The guests enjoyed taking pictures with the donkeys, exploring the property and dancing under the stars. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and hosts for our special day. PS: the Carriage House is a great place for the bridesmaids and family to get ready before the ceremony or relax with a glass of wine after the ceremony is over.

Truly a magical place!
Satolah Creek Farm was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! We stayed the whole weekend with the wedding on Sunday and it was honestly magical. Pippa and her team were amazing from start to finish and truly made our wedding day a day that we will never forget. The donkeys were also a huge hit! I would encourage anyone looking for a venue to consider this place. We were made to feel extremely welcome and our 3 dogs were also allowed to not only stay with us but actively participate in the wedding which was a huge plus for us!

Amazing stay and experience!
Satolah Farm was absolutely magical! This venue allowed for me and my bridal party to have the best experience getting ready! We stayed in the beautiful Carriage House, while the men stayed in the BlackBerry Haus. The property is so stunning, it includes beautiful backdrops and is so unique to anything else in the area! It was a wonderful experience getting to explore the area and meet the animals on the farm. We ended up with the most beautiful photographs! This was overall an amazing stay and experience! The owners had everything you could need and are so helpful! We highly recommend having your wedding or event here!
